Dorothy Oja talks about how she uses the Davidson Relationship chart to determine compatibility and conflict in relationships. She talks about the Davidson Relationship chart is calculated by taking the geographical mid-point of birth locations, birth dates and birth times to create a natal chart which represents the astrological alchemy between any two people. She explains why Saturn aspects are important and can be the glue that holds a relationship together. She also describes the importance of understanding the cross of manifestation and the connection between the ruler of the 7th house when analyzing relationship compatibility. Oja also describes five planets that she looks including Mars for sexuality & spark, Venus and Jupiter for fun & laughter, Saturn for time & permanence, and Mercury for communication & emotional compatibility.

Philip Sedwick talks about how the Galactic Center at 27 degrees Sagittarius, and the Super Galactic Center at 2 degrees of Libra are setting the larger context and influencing the Saturn / Uranus oppositions and Cardinal Cross of the summer of 2010. He describes how these alignments catalyze a consciousness shift that needs to happen in order to create a more workable planet. He talks about some of the perceptions about the Galactic alignment and as well as some 2012 myths. Sedwick specifically explains how certain mutable, fixed and cardinal points in the natal chart signify how to align and personify with galactic cosmic purpose and insight. He also talks about Trans-Neptunian bodies such as the new planet Eris as well as his approach for working with the larger cosmos in his Whole Sky Astrology.

Rick Levine talks about how the recent conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter in Aries signifies the potential for a breakthrough in technology and the emergence of futuristic thinking. He provides some metaphors for the unpredictability of Uranus, and explains how Uranus relieves tension and awakes consciousness through reconciling opposing forces.

He also discusses his perspective on the some of the 2012 mythology as well as fears and addiction to apocalypse and that is prevalent in our culture today.
Levine also reviews what he sees as the major astrological alignments over the next decade, and how the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico may be initiating a change in politics that we can't yet envision. Alan Oken is the author of many books about Astrology and a teacher of ancient wisdom. He describes astrology as an instrument for reflecting human consciousness and human dynamics, and for helping develop intuition and perception of energetic qualities. Oken believes astrology can helpful in defining your egocentric identity as well as discovering your soul purpose of engaged service. He speaks about his own chart in the language of astrology, and has a deep understanding of who he is and why he's here.
Oken describes the mechanism of astrology through the phrase of "As Above, So Below" and the "Law of Correspondences," which describes a holographic relationship between the micro and macro realities. He describes astrology as "a clock that expresses transcendental synchronicity" between the two different levels of consciousness of the planetary movements and life on earth. Oken talks about how astrologers add their observations and perceptions to the intuitive science of astrology through the example of Melanie Reinhart's contribution to the archetype of Chiron. Finally, he reflects on his work as an astrologer over the past forty years and how he's had a "rather interesting incarnation."

Rick Levine writes for StarIQ.com and Tarot.com and co-authors a yearly Your Astrology Guide with Jeff Jawer. Levine describes astrology as a map of time that doesn't tell you "what" is going to happen, but rather "when" something is going to happen. To Levine, astrology is more like an emotional weather report that can tell you when certain pressures are building up by looking at various transits, and that it is up to the individual to prepare and respond to these natural cycles. Levine describes his philosophy of Quantum Astrology and explains his perspective on the pre-destination / free will duality by using metaphors from Quantum physics. By looking through the quantum lens of interconnectedness, he sees that it's up to an astrologer to merely tell a client what archtypical dynamics are happening rather than predicting any specific event that could actually influence the final outcome. Finally, he talks about the merits of Sun Sign Astrology and how it is a valid holographic component of the astrological map of time.

He talks about the process of becoming an astrologer and writing so many books on the topic. Hand gives a preview of his keynote in which he discusses how different astrological traditions can come to similar conclusions while using different techniques, and argues that they can be seen as different languages that say the same thing. Hand reflects on his process for translating historical Medieval texts of astrology from Latin, and the development of Project Hindsight. He sees the potential for a grand synthesis between the modern astrological innovations and the foundational elements from the restored techniques of Medieval and Hellenistic astrology.

Bill Johnston discusses his involvement with Project Hindsight, whose purpose is to rediscover the genetic strands of modern horoscopic astrology by translating the ancient texts of Hellenistic Astrology. He talks about the challenges of translating these texts from Greek to English and of finding the proper meaning for these esoteric concepts, which requires a vast amount of reading. Johnston's personal interest began when he was trying to find the right house system that resonated with his identity and natal chart, and found that the Whole Sign House system used in Hellenistic astrology provided the most resonance. He talks a bit about some of the key texts from Vettius Valens and the translation efforts of the Catalogus Codicum Astrologorum Graecorum (CCAG), and then discusses the evolution and synthesis of different techniques throughout the Babylonian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman eras. Finally, Johnston explains the benefits of incorporating traditional techniques into modern astrology, and gives an overview of how these rediscovered techniques have been tested by applying them to biographies of famous figures such as Albert Einstein.

Chris Brennan was exposed to a number of different astrological traditions while studying at Kepler College, and moved away from his roots in modern psychological astrology after discovering more philosophical coherence from Hellenistic astrology. He talks a bit about the evolution of astrological concepts, and the cycles of re-integrating historical astrology into contemporary astrology. Brennan is much more into the predictive techniques of Hellenistic astrology, and because of some of his experiences, he holds a contrarian view from the humanistic perspective of free will and provides some opposing determinist perspectives. Brennan is definitely in the minority of the fate vs. free will debate within astrological community in this regard, but sees this as an emerging tension and hot topic. He also talks about the resurgence Hellenistic astrology and some of the specific techniques he commonly uses in his readings such as the Time Lord Systems and Zodiacal Releasing work. Finally, Brennan talks about the Association for Young Astrologers, and what it's like being a 'young astrologer' within the broader astrological community.
